Decks

A Deck is a handheld reader for your wafers. Put wafers in its side panel and store or take items through the grid, with search, sorting and a few sizes of window.
| Tier | Wafer slots | Battery |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | 1 | 10,000 FE |
| Basic | 3 | 25,000 FE |
| Advanced | 6 | 50,000 FE |
| Elite | 12 | 125,000 FE |
| Ultimate | 24 | 250,000 FE |

Power
- Moving an item in or out costs power. Browsing is free.
- Without charge, a Deck can't move anything.
- Charge it in a Combustion Generator or anything else that charges items.
What a Deck can do
- Hold item and fluid wafers side by side.
- See what a Storage Port lends to the network.
- Right-click a wafer to set its filters and priority.
- Keep the sorting you picked: every Deck you open sorts the same way.
- Share its search with JEI's, when JEI is installed. A key on the side turns that off.
Network and travel
- Link to a network at an Encoding Terminal, to receive port deliveries and see the Network tab.
- Send items to other players.
- Work outside the Overworld with a Dimension Upgrade.
Opening and wearing
- Right-click to open the Deck in your hand, or press B (Open Deck, under JASM in Controls) to open the worn Deck, else the first one you carry.
- With Curios installed, a Deck can be worn in the Deck slot. Every kind of Deck fits.
- A worn Deck counts as carried: crafting results, port deliveries, rules and sending all find it.
- If Curios is removed later, a worn Deck comes back to your inventory the next time you join, or drops at your feet when it is full.
Upgrading
The old Deck is used up. The new one keeps its wafers and its charge. Advanced and above also come as a Crafting Deck.
