Making chips by hand

Nearly every JASM recipe is built from chips. Logic and Memory Chips need nothing but a few common blocks.

Step by step

1. Cut a Data Crystal into a Blank Chip at a Stonecutter.
2. Cook the Blank Chip. On a Campfire it becomes an Unquenched Logic Chip; in a Blast Furnace, an Unquenched Memory Chip.
3. Drop the hot chip in water, still or flowing. After 2 seconds it hisses and becomes a Logic Chip or a Memory Chip.

The whole stack cools at once, and no water is used up.
